Detention

Ware Youth Center offers 34 beds to males and females between the ages of 10 and 16 at the Coushatta facility.  We also offer 21 beds to males and females between the ages of 10 and 16 at the Bossier facility. 

•  Initial screening by facility staff for health, substance abuse, or emotional problems. 
• Health screening by the Registered Nurse.
• Educational services including classes provided by certified, Red River Parish school teachers five days per week. 
• Recreational activities in the indoor and outdoor recreational area.
• Religious services on campus.
